GREENWOOD - After a rough first round that saw the Bearcats sitting in ninth place, Lander shot four-under in the second round and one-under in the third round to finish tied for second at two-over-par at their home tournament Monday and Tuesday. The other Lander team in the tournament shot 890 over the three rounds to finish 13th.
Linus Jonsson led the Bearcats, shooting seven-under over the three rounds to finish second, three strokes off the lead. Maxime Legros shot 215 to finish in a tie for tenth, giving the Bearcats two players in the top-ten, while Hugo Lari shot 221 to finish in a tie for 33rd. Chris Fortenberry and Connor Baker Shot 334 and 235, respectively.
Gaston Edberg and Gabe Kelly shot 219 to finish tied for 24th, while Jake Stoneham shot 228. Charlie Farrell and Luke Cusick finished with scores of 229 and 237. Skyler Mcfadden finished with 227, and Connor Patterson shot 234.
