STORYLINES

• Lander lost to North Greenville 15-14 for its first loss of the season.
• Adam Mather led the way with four goals in the contest for Lander. He finished with two assists and six points.
• Mather has scored three or more goals in his last four games and produced two or more assists in five of the six games this season.
• The Bearcats started down 3-2 after the first quarter but scored seven goals in the second to go up 9-7 at the half. North Greenville would outscore Lander 8-5 in the second half with the winning goals score with just 1:25 left in the fourth quarter for the Crusaders.
• Lander is outscoring opponents 108-52 so far this season.
• Last Saturday's contest was just the second time Lander has allowed more than 10 goals.
• Carter Wilcox and Mather lead the Bearcats in goals with 17, while Mather is the leader in assists with 13 and points with 17. Drew Wilson is second in points with 20 after scoring 13 goals and seven assists.
• Jake Watson leads the Blue and Gold in ground balls with 19 and face-off wins with 45. Sterling Blake and James Linn lead Lander in caused turnovers with five each.
• Liam Mackay has made six starts this season, going 5-0 in the process. He's made 39 saved in his 208 minutes of action this season.
• Maryville is 3-1 on the season, as the Saints recently took down Shorter 26-5 on the road.
• Justin Morgan and Jacob Allen led the way for the Saints with four goals each against Shorter.
• 15 players scored for Maryville with 17 recording points in the win.
• The Saints allowed just five goals between two different goalkeepers, with Jaxon Synder getting the win in 48 minutes. He made four saves while allowing three goals. Stephen DeSantis made one save while allowing two goals in just under 12 minutes of action.
• Maryville has outscored its opponents 70-36 this season.
• Its lone loss of the season was to No. 17 Lewis University, where the Saints fell 15-13 in their only home game of the season.
• Reid Usrey leads the Saints with 13 goals this season. Aidan Koenig is second with 12 goals.
• Zach Barker leads the squad in assists with 11 while Reid is the leader in points with 18.
• Cooper George is the leader in ground balls with 21 and Lee Parker has the most caused turnovers with seven.
• The goalkeeping situation for Maryville has seen two keepers split time. Jaxon Snyder has played in four games while starting in two. He's allowed 12 goals and made 18 saves in 132 minutes of action. DeSantis has appeared in three games while starting two. He's allowed 24 goals and made 14 saves in 107 minutes of action.
