EATONTON, Ga. - Playing in one of the most challenging tournaments all spring, the 13th ranked Bearcats shot a final round score of 284 to move up two spots and finish in second place, just six shots behind Barry, the number one ranked team in the country.
Counting Barry, the field for the Bobcat Invitational featured 15 teams ranked inside the top 25 in the country. The Bearcats finished eight shots better than #4 Lincoln Memorial and 15 shots better than #2 USC Aiken.
Jake Stoneham shot one-under-par over the three rounds to finish in third, while Maxime Legros shot one-over to finish in tenth. Hugo Lari finished tied for 12th after shooting three-over to give Lander three top-15 finishers. Linus Jonnson and Gaston Edberg shot 219 and 220, respectively, to round out the scoring for the Bearcats.
