VALDOSTA, Ga. – After a sluggish start that saw the 15th-ranked Bearcats sitting in a tie for 12th at the Southeastern Collegiate, Lander rallied over the next two rounds to finish in fourth in the highly competitive field.  

The Bearcats shot 295 in the first round but came out and shot a seven-under 281 to shoot up the leaderboard. The team finished with 292 in the final round to finish at 868.  

Linus Jonsson shot two-under-par to finish in a tie for sixth-place to lead the Bearcats. Maxime Legros finished tied for 20th with a three-round score of 217, while Hugo Lari finished one shot behind him with a 218, Gaston Edberg shot 221 over the two days, and Gabe Kelly finished with a 230.  

Lander will be back in action at the Bobcat Invitational next Monday and Tuesday
