- On Wednesday night, Lander defeated Georgia College 67-48.
- The Bearcats had five players score in double figures, led by Aniaya Jester and Makaila Cange, who had 14 points each. Sarah Crews added 12 points and five assists, while Vashae Rideout and Jakiyah Parker scored 10 points.
- Cange is currently 14 points away from recording her 1,000 career point.
- The NCAA released the first official Regional Rankings this week. The Bearcats are second, and the Hurricanes are third.
