STORYLINES
- The Bearcats started the 2022 season with a 17-4 at Chowan on Feb. 5.
- Nolan Oakey led the Bearcats in goals with four while Carter Wilcox led the squad in points (3 g, 2 a)
- Liam Mackay made two saves, Nicholas Paige made five saves and Rhys Peterson made three saves for the Bearcats.
- Blake Moore caused a team-high three turnovers while Wilcox led the way with four ground balls.
- In their two meetings all-time, the Bearcats have outscored the Hawks 28-7 and are 2-0 all-time.
- This will be the first time the Bearcats have faced Anderson in men's lacrosse.
- The Trojans began as a program last season and went 4-10 overall and 2-8 in the SAC.
- They picked up wins over PBC lacrosse programs Montevallo and Alabama-Huntsville to begin the season along with wins over Lincoln Memorial and Mars Hill to start the season 4-1.
- Anderson is 0-1 to begin the 2022 season. They lost to Florida Southern at home 23-12.
- Beau Henson led the way with five goals while Triston Schaffer was close behind with four.
- Joey Heckel made 15 saves against the Mocs.
- Anderson takes on PBC foe Young Harris next on Wednesday, February 16.
- Lander stays on the road, as it travels to face Emmanuel on February 16.
