COLUMBUS, Ga. - Wednesday's Peach Belt Women's Basketball game between #7 Lander and Columbus State has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols. 

Following the PBC 2021-22 COVID Forfeiture Policy, if a team cannot play a scheduled game due to COVID-19 reasons, that game will not be rescheduled, and the team will be given a forfeit loss. The PBC forfeiture policy will only apply to league standings, conference seedings, and conference tournament participation. The NCAA has a long-standing policy of not recognizing such forfeitures and deeming canceled games' no contests.' A PBC forfeiture will have no affect selection for NCAA championships, player statistics, or coaching records.

The men's game with Columbus State is still scheduled to start at 7:30 pm tonight.
