YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - Lander defeated Young Harris 3-1 Tuesday night to sweep the season series from the Mountain Lions.

SET 1 I 25-12	The Bearcats came out firing in the first set. With the score tied 2-2, Lander outscored the Mountain Lions 7-1 to take a 9-4 lead. Young Harris battled back, though, and cut the lead to 13-11. The Bearcats responded by finishing the set on a 12-1 run to take the victory. Lander hit an outstanding .333 for the set while holding the Mountain Lions to a .091 hitting percentage.
SET 2 I 24-26	The two teams battled back and forth through the second set, with neither team pulling away. Trailing 13-11, the Bearcats went on a 3-0 run to take a one-point lead. The two teams would trade points and lead throughout the rest of the set. Trailing 22-21, Young Harris scored three straight points to make it set point. The Bearcats would rally to tie the set at 24, but the Mountain Lions would score the final two points to take the victory. Lander again outhit Young Harris .297-.258.
SET 3 I 25-19	Trailing 13-10, Lander would outscore Young Harris 7-2 to take a 17-15 lead. After the Mountain Lions cut the lead to one, the Bearcats finished the set on an 8-3 run to take the victory. Lander continued to outhit the Mountain Lions .195-.044.
SET 4 I 29-27	Lander and Young Harris continued the back and forth in the fourth set. With the score tied at five, the Mountain Lions scored five straight points to take the lead. Lander clawed their way back and tied the set at 13. Trailing 22-20, Lander scored four consecutive points to set up a match point. Young Harris answered with three points to make it 25-24. Lander eventually pulled away to take the victory.
