GREENWOOD – Senior guard Jessica Harris from the Lander women's basketball team has been awarded first team All-Southeast Region honors from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) for the second consecutive season.
Harris, Lander's career leader in assists and steals, repeated as a first-team All-PBC selection and helped lead the Bearcats to the Peach Belt Conference regular season and tournament championships, as wellas the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Southeast Regional.
The Sumter, S.C., native averaged 14.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.9 steals per game. The senior finished the season ranked ninth in the NCAA in steals and 10th in steals per game. She ranked second in the conference in steals, third in made three-pointers and made free throws, and fifth in three-point percentage, assists, assist-to-turnover ratio, and points.
