GAINESVILLE, Ga. – The Lander men's golf team had a rough go of things, as the Bearcats finished the UNG Fall Invite tied for 14th place at the Chattahoochee Golf Club.
Leading the pack was sophomore Valentin Peugnet, who shot an even 72 to conclude the tournament. Junior Skyler McFaddin finished tied for 35th place after shooting one-over-par which included going three-under-par on the final day of action.
Sophomore Chris Fortenberry ended up tying for 72nd place with a 10-over-par tournament. Junior Gabe Kelly finished in 80th place after shooting 11-over-par. Senior Conor Cull rounded out the lineup with an 82nd place finish after shooting 13-over-par.
The Bearcats will pick their season back up after the new year, as they compete in the Hurricane Invitational on February 22.
