No. 7 Lander ends regular season at No. 2 Columbus State, Georgia Southwestern

GREENWOOD – The No. 7-ranked Lander men's tennis concludes the regular season with a pair of Peach Belt Conference road trips this weekend, facing No. 2-ranked Columbus State at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and Georgia Southwestern at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

STORYLINES

• Lander (15-3, 6-1 PBC) enters the weekend on a four-match winning streak and has won 10 of its last 11 contests. 

Axel Cronje and Adam Elliget are ranked as the No. 3 doubles pairing in the nation. 

• Additionally, Cronje is No. 58 in singles, while Ozan Cildir is No. 59 and Eirik Groner is No. 61.

• The Bearcats have played their last six matches at home. 

• Columbus State (18-2, 7-0 PBC) is the seventh ranked opponent Lander will face this season. 

• Georgia Southwestern (4-14, 0-7 PBC) fell to Lander 9-0 last season in Greenwood.
