KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Lander men's golf team will open up its spring portion of the schedule at the Newberry Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. 

STORYLINES

• The tournament takes place at The Ocean Course, which hosted the 1991 Ryder Cup, the 2007 Senior PGA Championship, 2012 PGA Championship, and will host the PGA Championship again in 2021. The course has twice been named America's toughest course by Golf Digest.

• The Bearcats will play 36 holes Monday with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. On Tuesday, play will begin at 8:30 with the final tee time at 10:50 a.m.

• Lander is sending Rahul Ajay, Conor Cull, Roberto Garagorri, Maxime Legros, and Jon Parker.
