AIKEN, S.C. – The No. 2-ranked Lander men's tennis team tallied its third win over a ranked team this season as the Bearcats handled No. 15 USC Aiken, 8-1, on Friday afternoon. 

Lander (13-2, 6-1 PBC) swept the Pacers (7-4, 1-3 PBC) in doubles play, highlighted by Eirik Groner and Ozan Cildir's 8-1 win at No. 3. The Bearcats put the match away by claiming five singles points, including Axel Cronje's 6-0, 6-0 effort at No. 4, to claim their eighth consecutive win. 

The Bearcats will host North Georgia on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
