GREENWOOD – The No. 8-ranked Lander men's tennis team blew by its crosstown rival on Wednesday afternoon as the Bearcats hammered rival Erskine, 9-0, at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.

The Bearcats (10-2) conceded just one set to Erskine (0-12) on the day and Lander's No. 4, 5 and 6 singles players dropped a combined five games in straight set victories. Eirik Groner and Ozan Cildir highlighted Lander's three doubles points with an 8-0 effort at the No. 2 spot. 

Lander travels to Augusta on Friday for a Peach Belt Conference match at 2:30 p.m.
