GREENWOOD – The No. 4-ranked Lander men's tennis team swept the singles matches and won two of three doubles Saturday afternoon in defeating Augusta, 8-1, in a Peach Belt Conference match at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.

Lander improves to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in the PBC, while Augusta drops to 5-1, (0-1).

Moritz Gehlhaus (AUG), 6-1, 6-0; No. 4 Ozan Cildir (LU) def. Arthur Andrade (AUG), 6-4, 6-3; No. 5 Alexandre Springer (LU) def. Joao Gabriel Freitas (AUG), 6-4, 6-2; and No. 6 Omar El-Moslemany (LU) def. Odyr Cruz (AUG), 6-4, 7-5.
