LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The No. 4-ranked Lander men's tennis team dropped its second road match of the season Friday when the Bearcats fell to top-ranked Georgia Gwinnett out of the NAIA, 6-3, in a non-conference match.
Georgia Gwinnett improves to 4-0, while Lander slips to 1-2.
In singles, No. 1 Kevin Konfederak (GGC) def. Jules Vauthier (LU) 6-1, 7-5; No. 2 Jordan Cox (GGC) def. Ozan Cildir (LU) 6-3, 6-0; No. 3 Eirik Groner (LU) def. Gilad Berman (GGC) 7-5, 6-4; No. 4 Connor Clements (GGC) def. Alexandre Springer (LU) 6-3, 7-6 (7-0); No. 5 Omar El-Moslemany (LU) def.
