EATONTON, Ga. - The Lander men's golf team finished ninth of 17 teams Tuesday in the two-day, three-round Bobcat Invitational hosted by Georgia College at the par-70 Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee.
Lynn University won the overall team title with a low 864 and was followed by: 2. Florida Southern 873, 3. Barry 874, 4. West Florida and Nova Southeastern 875, 6. St. Leo 879, 7. Columbus State 884, 8. West Georgia 893, 9. Lander 897, 10. Georgia Southwestern 902, 11. Armstrong State 903, 12. North Alabama and Rollins 907, 14. Georgia College 909, 15. USC Aiken and Clayton State 916, and 17. Valdosta State 920.
Individually for Lander, Michal Pospisil (74-74-71) tied for 10th with 218; Michael Brodie (78-72-76) tied for 38th with 226; and James Bartlett (76-82-73), Jordan Ainley (75-81-75) and Chris Kendall (73-78-80) all shot 231 and tied for 55th.
