YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - Bre Crum posted a double-double, while Ty'Hesha Reynolds and Ashleigh Zandi scored in double figures Wednesday evening to lead the Lander women's basketball team to a 59-50 Peach Belt Conference victory at Young Harris College.

The Lady Bearcats improve to 10-4 overall and 4-1 in the PBC, while Young Harris drops to 7-5, 2-3.

Crum tallied 14 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had eight steals to pace the Bearcat attack. Reynolds netted 16 points and dished off six assists, while Zandi went 5-for-10 from the three-point line for 15 points and added three steals.

Young Harris, which outrebounded the Bearcats, 41-37, was led by Meredith Tarver, who scored 20 points and grabbed four rebounds, while Briana Bell had eight points and eight rebounds, and Jenny Vernet 11 rebounds.

The Lady Bearcats, who next play at Augusta University at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 9, led at halftime, 25-22.

Lander connected on 22-of-65 field goals (33.8 percent), including 9-of-26 threes (34.6 percent), and 6-of-9 foul shots (66.7 percent).

The Mountain Lions were 22-of-55 from the floor (40 percent), including 4-of-13 from the three-point line (30.8 percent), and 2-of-5 free throws (40 percent).
