GREENWOOD - The Lander men's golf team moved up two spots to seventh Saturday after the second round of the three-day, three-round Peach Belt Conference championship hosted by Lander at the par-72 Greenwood Country Club.
The final round is scheduled to be played Sunday.
Flagler College leads the team competition with a low 566 and is followed by: 2. USC Aiken 568, 3. Young Harris 573, 4. Clayton State 580, 5. Georgia College 581, 6. Armstrong State 585, 7. Lander 586, 8. Georgia Southwestern 587, 9. Columbus State 588, 10. Montevallo 589, 11. UNC Pembroke 591, and 12 North Georgia 600.
Individually for Lander, Michal Pospisil (70-72) is tied for seventh with a 2-under-par 142, James Bartlett (75-71) is tied for 22nd with 146, Rob Prior (74-75) is tied for 35th with 149, Neal Todd (76-74) is tied for 37th with 150, and Jordan Ainley (77-74) is tied for 46th with 151.
