GREENWOOD - Four Lander volleyball players posted double-doubles Saturday afternoon to lead the Bearcats to a 3-1 Peach Belt Conference victory over Columbus State at Horne Arena and, in the process, gave head coach Ashley Stathas her 100th career win on Senior Day. Game scores were 24-26, 25-17, 25-23, 25-23.

Lander improves to 22-9 overall and 10-5 in the PBC and will host USC Aiken in a conference match at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Horne Arena. Columbus State drops to 4-22 overall and 1-13 in the PBC.

Kendall Korte tallied 26 kills and 23 digs, while Julia Ferreira Alves added 12 kills and 12 digs, Ali Kirk 30 assists and 10 digs, and Sophia Perkins 28 assists and 10 digs. Halle Dotson chipped in 10 kills and three block assists, Mallory Taylor 26 digs, and Reyonia Whipple one solo block and three block assists.

CSU was led by Megan Frame (15 kills), Abby King (13 kills, 13 digs), Kylie Beaubien (11 kills), Cori Ehmen (48 assists, 20 digs), Caytlin Merritt (17 digs), and Autumn Evilsizer (10 digs).
