COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Lander volleyball team rallied late in the third set Friday night and picked up another Peach Belt Conference game when the Bearcats blanked Columbus State, 3-0, in the Lumpkin Center. The game scores were 25-15, 25-12, 25-21.

Lander improves to 13-3 overall and 4-1 in the PBC, while the Cougars sink to 2-12, 0-4.

Tarryn Angermeier and Khiani Kelly led the team with 11 kills each, while Ali Kirk and Sophia Perkins added 22 and 10 assists respectively. Julia Ferreira-Alves had 23 digs and Kendall Korte 13.

Columbus State was led by Megan Frame (11 kills), Cori Ehmen 23 assists, and Andrea Skipper 10 digs.

The Bearcats continued their PBC weekend when they travel to the University of Montevallo (Ala.) for a Saturday 1 p.m. contest.
