Box Score DAHLONEGA, Ga. - Despite placing four players in double figures Saturday afternoon, the No. 20-ranked Lander women's basketball team fell to North Georgia, 77-76, in a Peach Belt Conference game at Memorial Hall.
North Georgia improves to 17-4 overall and 9-3 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 17-4, 10-2.
Aarika Judge led four Lander players in double figures with 15 points, while Portia McCray added a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, Ty'hesha Reynolds 12 points, and Bre Crum 11 points and four assists.
Stephanie Huffman led North Georgia with 27 points and 17 rebounds, while Kelsey Hutchins had 17 points and eight rebounds, and Jordan Livesay 10 points.
Lander, which led 36-35 at halftime, connected on 28-of-65 field goals (43.1 percent), including 8-of-23 three-point shots (34.8 percent), and 12-of-18 free throws (66.7 percent).
The Lady Nighthawks, who outrebounded Lander, 46-34, were 28-of-64 from the floor (43.8 percent), including 6-of-21 threes (28.6 percent), and 15-of-20 foul shots (75 percent).
Lander will next host Francis Marion at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 4, in a PBC contest.
