AUGUSTA - The No. 7-ranked Lander men's tennis team swept the doubles play then won five of six singles matches in a 8-1 Peach Belt Conference victory over GRU Augusta Wednesday afternoon.
Lander improves to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the PBC, while GRU Augusta falls to 5-4, 0-2.

Romain Brunie (A) 6-3, 6-2; No. 4 Victor Guirmaraes (A) def. Marc Hofer (L) 6-3, 6-7, 12-10; No. 5 Niklas Terhorst (L) def. Gustav Anderson (A) 7-6, 6-2; and No. 6 Diego Zegarra (L) def. Joao Freitas (A) 6-1, 6-0.
