Lander men's golf team finishes 11th at Bobcat Invitational

EATONTON, Ga. – The Lander men's golf team finished 11th of 17 teams Tuesday in the two-day, two-round Bobcat Invitational hosted by Georgia College at the par 70, 6,847-yard Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee course. The tournament was scheduled for three rounds, but was shortened to two due to bad course conditions caused by Monday's rain.

USC Aiken won the team title with a low 591 and was followed by: 2. Barry 294, 3. Nova Southeastern 595, 4. Clayton State 596, 5. Lynn 597, 6. Armstrong Atlantic 598, 7. Columbus State, UNC Pembroke and Georgia College 606, 10. North Alabama 609, 11. Lander 611, 12. West Florida 616, 13. Valdosta State 617, 14. Rollins and Florida Southern 618, and 16. Georgia Southwestern and Carson-Newman 619.

Individually for Lander, Robert Prior (77-73) tied for 20th with 150, Jordan Ainley (78-73) and Carlos Solis (77-74) tied for 26th with 151, Andrew McCullough (81-78) tied for 68th with 159, and Neal Todd (81-82) tied for 82nd with 163.
