MORROW, Ga. – Led by Ty'hesha Reynolds' 23 points, the Lander women's basketball team placed four players in double figures Saturday afternoon in an 87-75 Peach Belt Conference loss to Clayton State.

Clayton State improves to 13-5 overall and 8-3 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 8-1,2 3-8.

In addition to Reynolds' 23 points, Alyssia Watkins added a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, Portia McCray had 19 points and six rebounds, and Alexis Armstrong 14 points and seven rebounds.

Tiayra Green led Clayton State with 26 points, while Shacamra Jackson added 21 points, Andrea Benford 13 points and seven rebounds, and Kiana Morton 11 points and nine rebounds.

Lander, which outrebounded the Lakers, 40-37, connected on 25-of-68 field goals (36.8 percent), including 6-of-20 threes (30 percent), and 19-of-29 free throws (65.5 percent).

Clayton State, which led 44-34 at halftime, made 36-of-63 floor shots (57.1 percent), including 4-of-16 from the three-point line (25 percent), and 11-of-15 from the foul line (73.3 percent).
