GREENWOOD - Lander's Kendall Korte and Sidney Tracy both had double figures in kills, while Jessica Register notched her 20th double-double of the year Friday night as the Bearcats fell to No. 15-ranked Armstrong, 3-0, in a Peach Belt Conference game in Horne Arena. Game scores were: 25-16, 25-21, 25-19.

The Pirates improve to 25-2 overall and 17-1 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 20-9, 8-9.

Korte and Tracy tallied 13 and 10 kills respectively, while Register had 30 assists and 14 digs, and Julia Ferreira-Alves 12 digs.

Armstrong was led by Rachel Thompson (12 kills), Anna McGee (10 kills), Kamryn Sherman (42 assists), Morgan Hill (14 digs), and Stephanie Sfara (13 digs).

Lander will host Flagler College at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 8 in the Bearcats' regular-season finale. The game has been designated Senior Day and will recognize Register and Anna Padezanin.
