COLUMBUS, Ga. - Lander's Kaitlyn Harrison and Jessica Register each posted a double-double Saturday afternoon as the Bearcats' volleyball team fell to Columbus State, 3-1, in a Peach Belt Conference match in the Lumpkin Center. Game scores were 25-9, 22-25, 27-25, 25-10.

Columbus State improves to 5-9 overall and 2-4 in the PBC, while Lander drops to 12-3, 2-3.

Harrison had 15 digs and 11 kills, while Register added 30 assists and 16 digs, and Julia Ferreira-Alves 13 digs. Sidney Tracy and Kendall Korte contributed nine and eight kills respectively.

Columbus State was led by Megan Frame (18 kills, 13 digs), Katie Poole (14 kills, 13 digs), Andrea Skipor (13 kills), Kylie Beaubien (12 kills), Ivana Kazic (59 assists, 14 digs), Caytlin Merritt (19 digs), Sabrina Rodgers (13 digs) and Megan Scharnett (11 digs).

Lander will next host GRU Augusta at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 7, in a PBC match in Horne Arena.
