GREENWOOD – The top-ranked and defending national champion Armstrong Atlantic men's tennis team clinched the Peach Belt Conference regular-season title Monday afternoon when the Pirates defeated No. 7 Lander, 8-1, at The Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
Armstrong improves to 19-1 overall and 10-0 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 13-2, 9-1.

Samuel Poutignat (L) 6-0, 6-0; No. 4 Sven Lalic (AASU) def. Oscar Axelsson (L) 6-3, 6-2; No. 5 Pedro Scocuglia (AASU) def. Adam Jonsson (L) 6-3, 6-1; and No. 6 Pablo Gor (AASU) def. August Iwdal (L) 6-2, 6-4.
