GREENWOOD – The No. 7-ranked Lander men's tennis team remained undefeated in Peach Belt Conference play Wednesday afternoon after defeating No. 30 USC Aiken, 5-1, in a Peach Belt Conference match at The Joe Cabri Tennis Center.

Lander improves to 12-1 overall and 8-0 in the PBC, while USCA drops to 9-5, 3-5.

In singles, No. 1 Vincent Verpeaux (L) vs. Kevin Zerath (USCA) unfinished; No. 2  Paul-Henri Arrigoni (L) def. Patrick Stiebinger (USCA) 4-6, 6-0, 6-0; No. 3 Ettore Damiani (USCA) def. Adam Jonsson (L) 6-2, 6-2; No. 4 Oscar Axelsson (L) vs. Andy Quirk (USCA) unfinished; No. 5 Diego Zegarra (L) vs. Lucas Gobbi (USCA) unfinished; and No. 6 August Iwdal (L) def. Bruno Orlandini (USCA) 6-4, 6-3.

In doubles, No. 1 August Iwdal/Adam Jonsson (L) def. Patrick Stiebinger/Max Wichelhaus (USCA) 8-2; No. 2 Paul-Henri Arrigoni/Vincent Verpeaux (L) def. Bruno Orlandini/Andy Quirk (USCA) 8-3; and No. 3 Samuel Poutignat/Oscar Axelsson (L) def. Kevin Zerath/Ronan Reberac (USCA) 8-2.
