EATONTON, Ga. - The Lander men's golf team is in 14th place of 17 teams Monday after the second round of the two-day, three-round Bobcat Invitational hosted by Georgia College at the par-70, 6,730-yard Cuscowilla Golf Resort on Lake Oconee.
Lynn University leads the team competition with a low 565, and is followed by: 2. Nova Southeastern 566, 3. Armstrong Atlantic 569, 4. Florida Southern 572, 5. USC Aiken 574, 6. Barry 577, 7. Rollins 582, 8. Carson-Newman 583, 9. Columbus State 585, 10. Georgia Southwestern 587, 11. West Florida 588, 12. North Alabama 594, 13. Georgia College 595, 14. Lander and Clayton State 599, 16. Valdosta State 603, and 17. UNC Pembroke 609.
Individually for Lander, Robert Prior (76-68) is tied for 20th at 144, Jordan McColl (72-74) is tied for 27th with 146, Neal Todd (79-75) is tied for 69th with 154, Greg McCullough (78-77) is tied for 75th with 155, and Max Bell (79-77) is tied for 82nd with 156.
The third and final round is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
