COLUMBUS, Ga. – Jordan McColl placed third overall Tuesday afternoon to lead the Lander men's golf team to 13th place of 16 teams Tuesday in the two-day, three-round Aflac/Cougar Invitational hosted by Columbus State University at the par-71, 6,515-yard Country Club of Columbus.
Florida Southern won the team title with a low 863 and was followed by: 2. Columbus State 867, 3. North Alabama 873, 4. Georgia College 880, 5. Coker 882, 6. Valdosta State 883, 7. Carson-Newman 887, 8. UNC Pembroke 889, 9. Florida Tech 891, 10. Delta State 894, 11. Clayton State and Georgia Southwestern 898, 13. Lander 900, 14. Queens 902, 15. St. Leo 913, and 16. West Georgia 916.
Individually for Lander, McColl (71-71-72) placed third overall with 214, Chad Siefert (75-74-76) tied for 39th with 225, Oliver Van Nairn (74-78-75) tied for 49th with 227, Tanner Robb (78-78-83) tied for 82nd with 239, and Neal Todd (84-76-80) tied for 85th with 240.
