GREENWOOD - The No. 11 Lander men's tennis team scored its second straight shutout and sixth of the season Tuesday afternoon when it defeated Erskine College, 9-0, in a non-conference match at The Joe Cabri Courts.

Lander remains unbeaten at 10-0, while Erskine drops to 1-8.

In singles, No. 1 Paul-Henri Arrigoni (L) def. Angelo Ciarrocchi (E), 6-1, 6-2; No. 2 Oscar Perman (L) def. Christian Ranguelov (E), 6-1, 6-4; No. 3 Oscar Axelsson (L) def. Fabio Ciarrocchi (E), 6-0, 6-0; No. 4 Christopher Mattsson (L) def. Jack West (E), 6-4, 6-3; No. 5 Juan Manrique (L) def. Vincent Chauvette (E), 6-3, 6-3; and No. 6 Maxime Desmars (L) def. James Hoatson (E), 6-2, 6-2.

In doubles, No. 1 Arrigoni/Axelsson (L) def. Ranguelov/F. Ciarrocchi (E), 8-3; No. 2 Mattsson/Marques (L) def. A. Ciarrocchi/Chauvette (E), 8-0; and No. 3 Perman/Armstrong (L) def. West/Hoatson (E), 8-2.
