EATONTON, Ga. - The Lander golf team is in 12th place of 17 teams Monday after two rounds of the thee-round Bobcat Invitational hosted by Georgia College at the par-70, 6,730-yard Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee.
The final round will be played on Tuesday.
North Alabama leads the team competition with a low 7-over-par 560 and is followed by Barry and Lynn 568, 4. Armstrong Atlantic 571, 5. Georgia College, West Florida and Nova Southeastern 572, 8. Columbus State 575, 9. UNC Pembroke 577, 10. Belmont Abbey 579, 11. USC Aiken 593, 12. Lander 594, 13. Rollins 598, 14. Carson-Newman 599, 15. Florida Southern 601, 16. Valdosta State 602, and 17. Clayton State 613.
Individually for Lander, Max Fischer (70-71) is tied for seventh overall with a 1-over-par 141, Wes Bowman (74-74) is tied for 49th with a 148, Thad Wier (74-78) is tied for 64th with 152, Tyler Foxx (77-76) is tied for 69th with 153, and Roberto Nasalli-Rocca (79-78) is tied for 81st with 157.
