GREENWOOD - The No. 14 Lander men's tennis team won its 11th straight match Saturday afternoon when the Bearcats defeated No. 23 Augusta State University, 6-3, in a Peach Belt Conference match at The Joe Cabri Courts.

Lander improves to 11-1 overall and 3-0 in the PBC, while Augusta State drops to 6-3, 0-3.

In singles, No. 1 Paul-Henri Arrigoni (L) def. Jenner Stevenson (A), 6-1, 6-4; No. 2 Bernardo Fernandes (A) def. Henrik Willers (L), 6-3, 6-2; No. 3 Henrique Boturao (A) def. Levan Clark (L), 7-5, 5-7, 7-5; No. 4 Christopher Mattsson (L) def. Jan Labas (A), 6-2, 6-4; No. 5 Juan Manrique (L) def. Rafael Milhati (A), 7-6, 7-6; and No. 6 Pierre Frances (L) def. Guilherme Ferraz (A), 6-4, 6-3.

In doubles, No. 1 Fernandes/Boturao (A) def. Clark/Frances (L), 8-4; No. 2 Arrigoni/Desmars (L) def. Labas/Stevenson (A), 8-4; and No. 3 Mattsson/Willers (L) def. Milhati/Ferraz (A), 9-7.
