CLINTON----In a battle of two top 20 teams, No. 10 Lander University claimed an 8-1 non-conference victory over No. 20 Presbyterian College Thursday afternoon at the Templeton Tennis Courts.

Lander improves to 11-5 overall, while the Blue Hose drop to 12-5.

In singles, No. 1 Joakim Karlsson (LU) d. Aaron Chapman (PC) 6-2, 6-1; No. 2 Matthew Martin (PC) d. Nicolas Legros (LU) 6-4, 7-5; No. 3 Guilherme Fonseca (LU) d. Ruan Olivier (PC) 6-7, 6-3, 10-8; No. 4 Andre Ivarsson (LU) d. Mike Nicol (PC) 6-3, 6-3; No. 5 George Wilkinson (LU) d. Patrick Fediuk (PC) 6-2, 6-2; and No. 6  Henrik Willers (LU) d. Andrew Lee (PC) 6-3, 6-0.

In doubles, No. 1 Karlsson/Ivarsson (LU) d. Chapman/Martin (PC) 8-5; No. 2 Legros/Fonesca (LU) d. Zach Glankler/Lee (PC) 8-3; and No. 3 Willers/Benatzky (LU) d. Fediuk/Nicol (PC) 8-5.
