PANAMA CITY, Fla.----The Lander golf team is sixth of 15 teams Monday after the first round of the Outback Steakhouse Intercollegiate Tournament held at the Hombre Golf Club (Par 71, 6479 yards).

Cape Fear Junior College leads the team standings with a low 298, followed by St. Edwards (303), Armstrong Atlantic State (304), Lenoir-Rhyne and Columbus State (305), Lander 306, Southeast Oklahoma 309, Wingate 310, Georgia Southwestern 315, Newberry 317, Anderson 318, Clayton State 321, East Central 323, Montevallo 331 and Faulkner 336.

Individually Lander's Jake Amos is tied for third place with a 2-over par 73. Billy Belair shot 76, Patrick Wilson 78, Mark Vanadia 79 and Charlie Hoyle 88.
