GREENWOOD----The No. 10-ranked Lander men's tennis team won four of six singles matches Saturday, but couldn't overcome No. 7-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State University as the Pirates claimed a 5-4 Peach Belt Conference loss at the Joe Cabri Courts.
Armstrong Atlantic won all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead, then had to win just two singles matches to claim the victory.

Robert Jendelund, 6-3, 3-6, 7-6; No. 4 George Wilkinson (LU) def. Christian Bergh, 6-7, 7-5, 6-2; No. 5 Andre Ivarsson (LU) def. Henrik Lilja, 6-7, 6-1, 6-0; and No. 6 Taavo Roos (AASU) def. Nick Tzekos, 6-2, 6-4.
In doubles, No. 1 Bergh/Jendelund (AASU) def. Fonseca/Legros, 9-7; No. 2 Zink/Roos (AASU) def. Karlsson/T.C. Valle, 8-2; and No. 3 Bishop/Lilja (AASU) def. Ivearsson/Henrik Willers, 8-6.
