AUGUSTA, Ga. – Kylie Wilson and Leah Hayes Coen garnered the first Peach Belt Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week awards of the season, it was announced this afternoon.

Wilson earns her first career DPOTW honor after anchoring a Lander defense that allowed zero goals over two wins last week, including a 1-0 season-opening win over Anderson on Thursday, and a 4-0 win at Tusculum Saturday. Wilson also scored the third goal of her career against the Pioneers and played all 180 minutes last week.

Hayes Coen notches her sixth weekly award following a pair of clean sheets. She played all 90 minutes against Anderson and made one save before making three saves in 84 minutes at TU.

No. 20 Lander hosts a pair of games this week beginning with Converse on Wednesday (Sep. 2) at 5 p.m. On Saturday (Sep. 5), the Bearcats will battle Wingate at 5.
