DAHLONEGA, Ga. - Lander softball enters the Peach Belt Conference Tournament as the No. 4 seed and will open postseason play against No. 5 seed USCA Pacers in the quarterfinal round on Friday.

The Bearcats (32-18, 16-11 PBC) and Pacers (28-25, 12-15 PBC) will meet in a single-elimination contest scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on May 8, the final game of the day. The tournament is hosted by the top-seeded North Georgia Nighthawks, who claimed the regular-season title for the 12th consecutive year.

Lander won the regular-season series against USCA, taking two of three games at home. The series included a dominant 9-1 run-rule victory in five innings in the opener.
