PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced its First Team All-Americans for the 2025-26 season following the conclusion of the NCAA Championships, and senior standout
Kajsa Lindqvist became just the second player in Lander history to achieve First Team status.
Lindqvist joins Teresa Caballer Hernani (2013) after putting an exclamation point on her storied career last week at the PGA National Resort, finishing fourth overall in the stroke play portion of the Championships. It was her second consecutive fourth-place finish in the event after last year's tournament in Boulder City, Nev., giving her the best NCAA results in Lander history.
"Kajsa helped take our program to another level," head coach
Mark Riddle said. "She's ranked fifth in the country, and not only is she our First Team All-American, she is a tremendous leader."
Lindqvist, a WGCA Second Team All-American last year, recorded two wins, eight top-fives and 10 top-10's in a spectacular season for the Bearcats. She claimed the individual medal at the NCAA South Region championship earlier this month and was also named the Peach Belt Conference's Golfer of the Year.
She collected First Team All-PBC honors for the fourth straight year while winning the PBC Golfer of the Week award five times this season and 10 times altogether. Over the course of her career, Lindqvist amassed three wins, 19 top-fives and 29 top-10s.
Coach Riddle added: "Kajsa will be coming back to get her master's and be on our staff as a coach! I'm so proud of all she accomplished as a player at Lander."
