BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – It was announced today that Morgan Hill was tabbed the Gulf South Conference Women's Lacrosse Freshman of the week for the second time.

Hill, who was previously honored with the award March 10, scored five goals to lead all scorers in Lander's 19-2 Senior Day win over Montevallo last Saturday. She currently leads the Bearcats with 28 goals scored this season and is eighth in the conference in that category.

It was the sixth hat-trick of the season for Hill, and the second time she's scored five goals in a game, joining her March 11 output versus IUP.

Hill added two caused turnovers and a pair of ground balls versus the Falcons in a complete performance.

LU plays its penultimate game of the season this Saturday, April 11. It will come against GSC rival Alabama-Huntsville at 11 a.m. from Van Taylor Stadium.
