GREENWOOD - The Lander University men's tennis team has been recognized with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award for the 2024-25 season, while 11 Bearcats earned individual ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
The ITA All-Academic Team Award is presented to programs that maintain a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale) during the academic year.
To qualify as an ITA Scholar-Athlete, individuals must maintain a GPA of at least 3.5 and appear on the institution's varsity roster.
The Bearcats earning ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition include Brendan Jayaprakash, Max Barriere, Benjamin Bates, David Velasco, Fabian Billton, Jack Coleman, Ludvig Danielsson, Ismail ElShafei, Mouad Naoui, Julian Peter, and Markus Sorensen.
