NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association released its 2025 All-Region Teams this afternoon, and a trio of Lander Women's Lacrosse seniors earned selection:
Autumn Huskey,
Kara Krusbe and
Izzy Olson.
Huskey, the 2025 Gulf South Conference Defensive Player of the Year, was named to the First Team South. Huskey caused 45 turnovers and picked up 52 ground balls to lead the GSC in both categories. She was a four-time conference Defensive Player of the Week.
Krusbe is a Second Team South honoree after enjoying the best season of her collegiate career in 2025. She led the GSC in goals-against average (9.10 per game) and earned 13 wins in goal for the Bearcats. Krusbe was named the GSC Defensive Player of the Week three times while making the All-GSC First Team.
Olson also was named to the Second Team South after earning a spot on the First Team All-GSC. She surpassed a few notable career marks this season, including 100 career points and draw controls. Olson won 10 draw controls in the regular-season finale versus Montevallo to set a new single-game career-high.
