Allen, Bumgarner and Hill Named to Peach Belt Softball All-Conference Team

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference announced its 2025 All-Conference softball teams Thursday, with Lander University placing three outfielders among the league's top performers. Emily Allen was named to the All-PBC First Team as an at-large selection, while Samantha Bumgarner and Reagan Hill were named to the Second Team.

The trio has anchored Lander's outfield all season, with Bumgarner patrolling left field, Allen holding down center, and Hill in right. All three have been consistent starters and key contributors as the Bearcats continue their run in the postseason.

Allen, a junior from Mount Dora, Florida, leads the Bearcats with a .386 batting average and a .655 slugging percentage through 47 games. She has totaled 56 hits, including seven doubles, one triple, and 10 home runs while adding 36 RBIs and eight stolen bases.

Bumgarner, a sophomore from Mount Pleasant, has been a spark in the lineup, hitting .375 with 39 hits, five doubles, five home runs, and 22 RBIs in 41 games played. She boasts a team-best .484 on-base percentage. Defensively, she holds a .943 fielding percentage with 47 putouts in left field.

Hill, a sophomore from Canton, Georgia, rounds out the Bearcats' All-Conference selections. She has started all 47 games and is batting .329 with 50 hits, five doubles, and 13 RBIs. Her steady glove in right field has earned her 50 putouts with a .915 fielding percentage.

Lander (24-24, 12-12 PBC) now turns its focus to the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. The fifth-seeded Bearcats will face the fourth-seed USC Aiken in the quarterfinals on Friday, May 2, at 6:30 p.m. in Dahlonega, Ga.
