Lander to Face USC Aiken as No. 5 Seed in Peach Belt Softball Tournament

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference has released the 2025 PBC Softball Tournament bracket, and Lander has secured the No. 5 seed. The Bearcats will take on fourth-seeded USC Aiken in the opening round on Friday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m.

The tournament will be hosted by top-seeded North Georgia in Dahlonega, Ga., following a single-elimination format.

Lander finished the regular season with an even 24-24 overall record, including a 12-12 mark in conference play. The Bearcats will be looking to build on that consistency as they square off with a Pacers squad that earned the No. 4 seed.

The winner of the Lander-USC Aiken matchup will advance to face the winner of the North Georgia vs. USC Beaufort contest in the semifinals on Saturday, May 3, at 2:30 p.m. The tournament championship game is scheduled for Sunday, May 4 at noon.

12:00 p.m. – Championship Game
