ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Three rounds are complete at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate at St. Johns Golf & Country Club and the Lander men's golf team finished in fifth place at three-over for the week.

The 19-team field consisted of eight ranked programs – the Bearcats are 25th in Division II – with seventh-ranked and tournament host Lincoln Memorial taking home the winners' trophy at -14.

23rd-ranked Wingate was five shots back and tied for second with No. 10 Columbus State. Georgia Southwestern (No. 11) was one shot ahead of Lander with No. 2 North Georgia six shots behind the Bearcats.

Edward Rahm earned a spot on the All-Tournament team after putting together a six-under tournament with rounds of 70-67-73 on the par-72 layout. Rahm, the fifth-place finisher, had a three-birdie final round on Tuesday.

Gaston Edberg was the next Bearcat on the leaderboard in a tie for 12th at one-under par. Edberg saved his low-round for the final round, a 71 with a trio of birdies.

Likewise, Samuel Guigui-Baruchel (+4) rose up the leaderboard with his best round of the week today, a one-under 71 that featured four birdies and placed him in a 30th-place tie.

Victor Larsson closed with a 75 in the third round and was fourth for Lander.

Playing individually, Jake Wakeford finished at 12-over after a final-round 77 while Noah Curdt finished two strokes back.

Lander returns to competition in two weeks at the Spring Bulldog Clash hosted by Barton. The tournament will take place on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 24 and 25 at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island.
