The Bearcats added a run in the second inning to take a two-run lead.
Neither offense could score any runs over the next four innings. North Georgia scored a run in the seventh and eighth innings to tie the score at four. The Bearcats answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning on RBI singles from Garrett and Blake Marrs to regain the lead.
