Lander falls to Belmont Abbey 6-1

Belmont, N.C. - Belmont Abbey defeated Lander 6-1 in nonconference women's tennis action Thursday afternoon. 

Maria Jose Zarza and Hannah Panchal won their number one doubles match 6-4, but Belmont Abbey won the other two matches to take the double point. Zarza would pick up the lone Bearcat point, winning her number one singles match in straight sets.
