GREENWOOD - Augusta defeated Lander 6-1 Tuesday afternoon in Peach Belt Conference women's tennis action.
The doubles team of Maria Jose Zarza and Mille Elsborg picked up a 6-2 win in the number one position, but the Jaguars won the other two matches to take the doubles point. After falling behind 1-0 in her singles match, Zarza won the second set 6-3 and the third 10-3 to pick up the lone point for the Bearcats.
