GREENWOOD - Lander scored 15 runs in the first two innings and rolled to a 24-7 win in seven innings over Francis Marion Tuesday evening. The 24 runs scored are the most by the Bearcats since they scored 24 against Anderson on March 23, 2016.
Eleven different hitters recorded at least one hit on offense, and 12 had at least one RBI. Making his first start of the season, Logan Kobis led the Bearcat offense, going 4-5 with a double, three runs scored, and three RBIs. Ethan Wilder was 2-3 with a double, two runs scored, and tied a career-high with five runs driven in. Chase Dougherty, Chris Manriquez, and Will McClellan all drove in three runs. Jake Larson (4-1) picked up the win, allowing one run on five hits in three innings of work.
